Remember Y2K? Here’s a blast from the past. I was doing some post-Christmas cleaning and found a toast I wrote for the Millennium!
To the Millennium!
A thousand years in the making.
What more can I say?
It’s a tricky word to fit
In a toast that’s suppose to be full of wit.
I guess it does rhyme with words like
Coliseum, planetarium, or even opium.
Oh, what the heck,
Here’s to years of joy and happiness.
So let us drink wine
and lose our equilibrium.
